just went through another two weeks of in-camp reservist.
actually i've already been out for almost two weeks so it's technically not just.
had a jolly time catching up with the friendly people of my evergreen unit, and got several arrows in my back because everyone nominated me to be the radio spec, and i'm just a corporal. it doesn't pay to be the middle-aged bird in the unit because the old ones have long since learned to dodge these hidden arrows and the new ones don't need to, and it wouldn't have mattered that much if not for the fact that there's a major exercise for the next in-camp. but oh well, i'll handle it.
had multiple internal battles in the time i've been back, but i'm just about stabilised now unless some major fuck-up happens again. i'll go for what i need, not what i want, so no Ducati for now. i've been patient thus far so it shouldn't be much of a problem for me.
getting back into my jogging regime because my uniform's getting tighter.

been spending a substantial amount of time servicing the morris and updating it with new parts, some original and some of the more modern nature. it's featured in the project potter blog so i won't go into much detail here.
my main goal right now is to make it a worry-free everyday vehicle so i won't have to keep snatching the mini from my sister in the limited time before my brother goes back to using it everyday.
realistically though, it's probably going to take another fortnight or so of fiddling around.

went for the first annual motoring heritage day held at the old ford factory.
saw lots of cool shit owned by the upper-class, and they were cool. but i'll just leave that to the next post.
hmm. wonder when that's going to happen.
